ESSAR Shipping Ports and Logistics is planning to construct and operate ports in countries such as Kenya, Mozambique and Indonesia. This is part of its strategy to more than triple the share of the ports and terminals business in its total revenue to 50% in the next few years, according to company chief executive Rajiv Agarwal.
He said the company would go to places where the Essar group operates. The group has interests in sectors such as steel, p e t r o c h e m i c a l s , telecommunications and power. |
