Shipping and Logistics – Event of the Month

INMEX India 2009

This mega shipping event will create a unique business opportunity for shipping and maritime companies

The International Maritime Expo India, or INMEX India 2009, is one of the premier trade shows in the shipping sector, bringing exhibitors, potential buyers and clients from the shipping industry under one roof. Shipping industry players will come from different geographical locations – the Indian sub-continent, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and European countries – to showcase their products and discuss the latest developments taking place in the industry.

The event is scheduled to be held from September 24-26, 2009, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. IIR Exhibitions Ltd is the main organiser of the show. The highlights of the event will be a trade exhibition, a plenary session, group presentations, round-table and Business-to-Business (B2B) presentations and meetings.

The event was first held in 1999 and has gained immense popularity with the shipping fraternity across the world, attracting a significant number of Indian and international exhibitors each year. In the first year itself, the show was attended by 120 exhibitors and hosted 1,500 visitors. This jumped to 402 exhibitors and 4,748 visitors in 2007. The event sees media coverage by leading Indian and international media.
